Planning your wedding ceremony should be an exciting and meaningful experience. As your celebrant, I’ll guide you through every step to ensure your special day is seamless and truly reflects your love story. Here’s a helpful timeline to keep you on track:

12-9 Months Before the Wedding

  • Book Your Marriage Celebrant – Secure your date early to avoid disappointment.

  • Initial Meeting – Let’s discuss your vision, style, and preferences.

  • Legal Requirements – Understand the steps to legally marry in New Zealand.

  • Ceremony Inspiration – Start gathering ideas for vows, readings, and special touches.

  • Outline Your Ceremony – We’ll begin shaping the flow and structure.

  • Personalisation – Decide on traditions, cultural elements, or rituals to include.

  • Vow Guidance – If writing personal vows, I can provide tips and examples.

  • Ceremony Draft – Review and refine the script together.

  • Music & Readings – Choose songs, poems, or speakers for the ceremony.

  • Marriage License – Apply online or at a registry office (valid for 3 months).

  • Confirm Logistics – Ensure everything is aligned with your venue and other vendors.

  • Finalise the Ceremony – Confirm all details and any last-minute changes.

  • Practice Vows – Rehearse privately or at a formal wedding rehearsal.

  • Check Sound & Seating – Ensure your venue has the right setup for guests to hear.

  • Wedding Rehearsal (Optional) – Walk through key moments to ease any nerves.

  • Check-in Call – A final run-through with your celebrant to answer any questions.

  • Relax & Enjoy – The hard work is done; now it’s time to get excited!

Wedding Day

  • Arrive early – I’ll be there to support you and coordinate final details.

  • Officiate the Ceremony – With warmth, professionalism, and joy.

  • Sign the Marriage License – Ensuring everything is legally official.

  • Celebrate! – You’re officially married – let the festivities begin!

After the Wedding

  • Marriage License Submission – I’ll ensure it’s lodged with the Department of Internal Affairs.

  • Follow-up – A warm congratulations and any final documents you may need.

  • Order Your Marriage Certificate - You can request this through Births, Deaths and Marriages.

✔️ Standard wedding script with minor customisations
✔️ Completion and submission of legal paperwork
✔️ Ceremony officiation
✔️ Travel within 30km of Waikato

Personalised Wedding Package – $750

Ideal for couples wanting a custom-designed ceremony.
 

Includes everything in the Essential Package, plus:
✔️ Fully personalised ceremony script
✔️ Two planning meetings (in-person or virtual)
✔️ Rehearsal coordination (if required)
✔️ Travel within 50km of Waikato

Premium Wedding & MC Package – $1,200

For couples looking for a full-service marriage celebrant and reception MC.
 

Includes everything in the Personalised Package, plus:
✔️ Reception MC services (up to 4 hours)
✔️ Additional meetings with the couple & wedding party
✔️ Support with vow writing & additional readings
✔️ Travel within 100km of Waikato

Additional travel outside included distances will incur a mileage fee.

Additional Costs & Travel

  • Travel Fee: $1.00 per km beyond the included travel distance

  • Accommodation Fee: Required for events over 2.5 hours from Waikato

  • Extra Meetings/Rehearsals: $75 per additional meeting

✔️ Assistance with vow renewals or special speeches
✔️ MC services for the event (up to 2 hours)
✔️ Travel within 30km of Waikato
